ScoutMed is established as a UK National Scout Active Support Unit.
We are a medical team made up of over 75 members from all over the country, we Support scouting events both small and international, providing high quality, on-site clinical support.
ScoutMed is proud to be comprised of a team that boasts a wide range of skill sets, including Doctors, Paramedics, Nurses, Advanced Practitioners, Emergency Medical Technicians, and FREC 3 responders. Regardless of clinical-grade we all work collaboratively and thrive from our passion to provide high-quality care.
Our dynamic team is able to provide support for Scouting events on a small District level, large county events, all the way through to international camps with thousands of participants.
ScoutMed provides medical services and advice to Scout events across the country, including small District and international Jamborees.
Members of ScoutMed start off with a minimum qualification of First Response Emergency Care Level 3 (FREC 3) or equivalent. We continue our training to maintain excellent clinical skills and knowledge.
ScoutMed carries an array of medical equipment, normally only found on Emergency Ambulances. This includes oxygen, advanced pain relief and cardiac monitors.
